The Zwide ‘Siyaphakama’ Schools Project is the Kolisi Foundation’s inaugural education and sports development project.

Designed to inspire, transform and empower, this combination of gemstone beads is made up of:
- Black Agate is associated with courage and inner strength. It can help balance emotions, promote inner peace, and reduce anxiety and stress.
- Lava Beads connect one to the Earth’s energy with a sense of rootedness. These beads are formed through intense heat and pressure of volcanic activity. As a result they are associated with rebirth and transformation. -

The project, named after Siya Kolisi and his mother, Phakama, ‘Siyaphakama’ - means “We Are Rising”. Siyaphakama’s mission is to help develop healthy, active, emotionally & academically stronger children while contributing to the broader development of the Zwide Community and beyond.
