PURPOSE DRIVEN JEWELLERY

We are excited to announce that we’ve partnered with Kolisi Foundation in a creative meeting of minds to bring change in our community and dedicate our focus to supporting women in South Africa with a strong focus on Gender-Based Violence (GBV).

As a female-owned brand, an inherent part of our ethos is uplifting and empowering women. Sharing a fierce passion for supporting our community of women, the Kolisi Foundation acknowledges the profound and widespread GBV in our country, which disproportionately affects women and girls. Together, we are eager to invite our community to participate in this collaboration of projects enabling support and funding for the women affected by GBV.

FOR EVERY ONLINE PURCHASE MADE FROM BLACK BETTY, WE DONATE A PORTION TO THE KOLISI FOUNDATION.

REMEMBER THE ONE, ONE BY ONE

Kolisi Foundation was established in April 2020 by Siya and Rachel Kolisi with a desire to change the narratives of inequality in South Africa.

With the motto to “remember the one, one by one”, the conviction that every act of change matters is the philosophy that underpins the Kolisi Foundation. The foundation supports people living in under-resourced communities in South Africa by providing relief resources, facilitating capacity-building and horizontal learning exchanges, and mobilising and advocating for systemic change.

At Black Betty, we are excited to work on some special projects with the Kolisi Foundation. Sign up to our newsletter to be informed about our upcoming projects and how you can get involved.
