In a collaboration of creative minds, a whole underworld has been imagined by Poetry & Black Betty. Introducing Atoll, a collection of locally handcrafted jewellery made from Sterling Silver, inspired by coral islands and coastal living.
Our collaboration with Poetry has been the curation of the tangible and intangible treasures of the oceanic and natural world we call home. The collection - Atoll - pays homage to oceanic beauty.
As a creative ode to rediscovering and designing shapes comprising of metallic silhouettes and textures, each piece is a statement that evokes softness through folds and textures.
Atoll will leave you feeling nostalgic for the ocean; each piece is a reminiscent of coral reefs, moving waves, ocean creatures, and shell structures. Enveloped in the folds, there are hints of gemstones that glisten and scintillate to capture the wild depths of the ocean.
CARING FOR YOUR JEWELLED TREASURE
At Black Betty, we believe in creating carefully considered pieces that ensure quality and longevity. By using precious metals like sterling silver, it means our pieces will always be able to be repaired, recycled, reworked, and restored.
Gold plating is a coating added to sterling silver and this may wear over time due to friction and surface abrasion. We advise treasuring your piece with care if gold plated by avoiding excessive rubbing or contact with water, creams, perfume, and chemicals such as detergents and cleaning agents, to avoid early fading.
