One winner and the person they bring share R30,000 to spend at Black Betty, R15,000 each. Design a bespoke piece with Kristin and Nicolene, get pierced side by side, or have your chains welded on together. No templates. No trends. Just you, your person and something made to last.

From a sketch to something you can hold

Bubbles and stones
A morning at the studio with your person, Kristin and Nicolene: bubbles, treats and a table of stones to choose from.

The sketch
Your stories become a drawing. You shape it until it feels like yours.

The wax
The design is carved in wax, so you can see it and hold it before it's cast.

The casting
The wax is cast in gold and your stones are set by hand.

Yours to keep
About three weeks later, you come back for the piece that is only yours.
Choose piercing or zapping instead and it all happens on the day, with bubbles.

- Online orders, studio purchases, gift cards and piercing or zapping bookings all count.
- Winners are drawn at random on Wednesday 14 October 2026.

How do I enter?
Spend R500 or more on one order, online or in any Black Betty studio, before Tuesday 6 October 2026 at 23:59. Every R500 on that order is one entry: R500 is one entry, R1,000 is two, and so on. There's nothing to fill in.
Do studio purchases count?
Yes. Purchases at Sea Point, Hout Street and Parkhurst count the same as orders online.
Do gift cards and bookings count?
Buying a gift card counts, and so do piercing and zapping bookings. Paying with a gift card doesn't count a second time, so every rand is only counted once.
Who can I bring?
Anyone 18 or older: your mom, your sister, your best friend. They don't need to have shopped.
What does the prize include?
R30,000 to spend at Black Betty: R15,000 for you and R15,000 for your person, on a bespoke piece, piercing (with jewellery) or zapping. Bespoke starts with a sit-down over bubbles and treats with Kristin and Nicolene, and design, sketching and casting take about three weeks. Piercing and zapping happen on the day. The prize can't be exchanged for cash or used on the I AM Collection in 9kt gold or Beading Project pieces, and prizes are available while stocks last.
When is the draw?
Winners are drawn at random on Wednesday 14 October 2026, overseen by an independent auditor, and contacted by email and phone. With their permission, we'll share the winners on Instagram.
What if I return my order?
Your entries come from what you keep. If an order is cancelled or refunded before the draw, its entries fall away.
Do I need to tag or share anything?
No. Tagging, sharing or following doesn't enter you or change your chances. Your order is your entry.
